ABOUT

The Iron Circle is a multi-game guild and role-playing community that has been active since 2006, originating in World of Warcraft and expanding into games like EverQuest, ArcheAge, Black Desert Online, and SWTOR. Chances are, if you’ve encountered the Iron Circle in a game—or remember memorable encounters with its members, whether good or bad—that’s us. We’ve been a fixture in RP communities from the beginning, balancing immersive storytelling with engaging gameplay. The Iron Circle strives to create a community of mature, funny, and down-to-earth individuals who value camaraderie over strict progression. While not a hardcore guild, we expect our members to contribute meaningfully. We’re not aiming to be the best, but we’re certainly not aiming to be last.

WHO ARE THE CIRCLE?

The Iron Circle is a mercenary company and esoteric order with a bloody and infamous history. Known for their ruthless efficiency, they are feared across Solisium and beyond. Their unwavering bond with their comrades defines them, and their reputation precedes them as harbingers of death and destruction on the battlefield."Your service in the Iron Circle has made you a force of nature, impervious to fear and unstoppable in your resolve. Across the shattered realms, you will charge with unrelenting fury, leaving no foe unbroken. You are the embodiment of our will—unyielding, unrepentant, unrelenting. Where others falter behind barricades or falter in defense, you will shatter through. You have trained for years under brutal conditions, molded into warriors who defy the limits of mortal endurance. Barriers will not hold you; traps will not ensnare you. You are Iron's chosen. Fail me, and you will answer to the wrath of the Iron Circle." – Odothian, Iron Warlord

IRON CIRCLE LORE

Spirituality and Religion
Although deeply rooted in mysticism and reverence, the Red Bishops of the Iron Circle stand apart from traditional religions. Neither huddled in shadowy dens like cults nor commanding sprawling cathedrals as the faiths of Solisium, their practices are enigmatic and fiercely guarded. To those within the Circle, glimpses of their beliefs are granted—particularly during rare lunar rites or in whispered counsel beneath the crimson sky.
Organized Religion
The Red Bishops harbor open disdain for the established faiths of Solisium. To them, the sprawling temples and gilded priests of great religions are instruments of oppression, their leaders treacherous and deceitful. Such figures are treated with calculated malice, while the faithful masses are pitied as misguided. The Bishops believe all who seek divinity worship an underlying truth—a singular, omnipresent force they call the Loom.
Science and Alchemy
Those seeking faith within the Iron Circle often find laughter in response. The Bishops hold that the truth of the divine lies not in prayer, but in understanding. Their doctrine exalts empirical study, blending arcane mastery with scientific pursuit. Experiments, whether magical or alchemical, are conducted with little regard for morality or legality. To the Bishops, any sacrifice is worth unraveling the secrets of the Loom—a ceaseless weave of energy that binds all things.
The Nature of the Loom and the Universe
The Red Bishops fiercely protect their writings on the Loom's nature, treating these works as treasures and their discovery as grounds for war. To the Bishops, the Loom is the essence of existence: a cosmic thread that connects all matter and energy, unthinking and impartial. It holds no commandments, bears no morality, and transcends the mortal desire for meaning. This detached view of the divine often alienates others, but the Bishops persist, believing that all gods, however named or shaped, are fragments of the Loom's incomprehensible whole. In their eyes, even the devout of rival religions unknowingly worship the same force—an unseen, eternal Muse that pulls order from chaos.

Ohr Games is a community built around creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for gaming and storytelling. Rooted in the concept of Ohr—a Kabbalistic term describing divine light and emanations—the community strives to be a source of insight, connection, and inspiration for its members. While PC gaming is a key branch of the group, Ohr’s heart lies in its immersive living campaigns. From 2014 to 2019, the Lands of Lore campaign and the world of Ohrros brought together over 500 members, making it one of the largest tabletop gaming communities of its time. With 8 dedicated game masters running 8-10 games weekly, Ohr Games became a haven for adventurers and storytellers alike. Events like The Siege of Kastaark—a massive session with over 40 players working together to retake their city—defined its legacy as a place where gaming meets epic, collaborative storytelling.Ohr Games is more than a gaming community—it's a shared creative endeavor. Over the years, members have come together to build Ayotha, or "The World of Ohr," a collaborative world set within the Dreaming Worlds. This shared universe has grown into a living tapestry of cities, flora, fauna, holidays, poetry, dungeons, and more. Players have contributed original writing, short stories, adventure designs, and entire gaming systems, resulting in over 800,000 words of collective creativity. Our community-driven approach extends to game design. We've created numerous free-to-play OSR systems, including Torches in the Dark (currently in its 3rd edition), Infinite Darkness (a grim sci-fi setting), and other systems like Omensworn, Barbarous, and Orenda, all rooted in the Dreaming Worlds. With six downloadable rulebooks and countless house rules, archetypes, spells, races, and items, Ohr Games exemplifies a philosophy of "create what you want to play."
